Five Steps To Successful Self-Hypnosis

1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

consider what you want vs. what you don't want. You need to be able to distinguish the differences.

Instead on focusing on what you donít want, it's important to focus on WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE to experience instead, because your subconscious mind says YES to whatever you focus on, it's important to be positive. If you don't want illness focus on perfect health, if you don't want less of something, focus on abundance, if you donít want to experience stress, focus on experiencing peace,.

2. CLAIM IT AS YOURS

Once you know what you want, imagine and FEEL that you already have it. Engage as many of your senses as you can and while in a trance state (in a state of hypnosis). You need to vividly imagine yourself as if you are already enjoying the desired state, thing, or circumstances.

You may also re-live your life, in your mind, by imagining that you have always had this resource, quality, thing youíd like to experience.

3. CLEAR THE OBSTACLES
Successful self-hypnosis is very much like planting seeds. You decide what you would like to grow, you plant the seeds by imagining and feeling that you already have the desired outcome. You don't have to worry yourself with how the plant, you just need to focus on the fact that it will grow.

4. LET GO AND TRUST
This is probably the hardest step for most people and it may take some practice to totally and completely trust in the wisdom and power of your mind, universe, God, your Higher Self (pick the term you prefer).

5. RECOGNIZE WHEN YOU GET WHAT YOU ASKED FOR
Sometimes what you ask for may come into your life in a slightly different form. It is important to notice and acknowledge that what you asked for has in some form manifested for you.
Sometimes what you ask for may be even better than what you asked for (vividly imagined in self-hypnosis).

These are five brief ways to get the most of our your self-hypnosis session. If you want more email, don't hesitate to fill out the request contact form and let's chat it up!!

Gloomy Wednesday in SoCal

Hello readers!! Such a gloomy day in Southern California today. I don't think we're used to this weather. Where's are sunny 80 degree weather on Christmas Day at!?!

Lot of us (including me) can fall victim to the weather. It took a lot of positive thinking to get out of bed in a good mood. I wanted to stay wrapped up in my blankets :-)

Try this little trick and see how it works for you...

Think of things that make you happy, anything... birth of a child... funny story..funny photo..funny movie.. anything that will make you laugh and smile...anything that makes you happy. When you find that feeling, start taking a few deep relaxing breaths and try to focus all your energy on that happy feeling. Close your eyes. Take that feeling and visualize it as a spherical orb in the center of your body. Really feel that happiness. Feel the "happy orb" start to grow. Let the happy orb consume your entire body. Live that happy feeling.

If you let yourself go and allow the feeling to over, the gloomy weather and all other gloomy thoughts will disappear.

<img src="http://www.hypnonsense.com/blog/assets/0_0_0_0_253_168_csupload_42134388.jpg?u=634649132597757650" width="253" height="168" id="post-383331:ctrl-8625643" alt="Gloom and Doom!!
Being aware of our thoughts

Being aware of what we say and do can be difficult for most of us., I'm human..I'm guilty of it. The best thing that we can do to be more aware is to "be aware of wanting to be aware." In oder to make a change , we need to "want to make the change." That is the key first step in being aware. This, however, is the hardest of all actions to do. Our conscious minds do not like change. They like things to remain the same no matter how unhappy we are. Change takes work. Work is hard. We need to be aware of these thought processes and fight through the restraints that old us back.

I found an article that addresses this topic

http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTCS_06.htm

As with anything, research, explore, and make time for yourself.

Feel free to share your thoughts and don't hesitate to ask for help.

Visual Motor Rehearsal

Olympians, Blue Angel Pilots, Recreational Sports Athletes, all benefit from Visual Motor Rehearsal.

VMR is using your imagination. Visualizing what you want your outcome to be. Do you want to win or do you want to lose?

The U.S. Navy Blue Angel pilots use "chair flying" or VMR before every practice flight. They rehearse all mannerism and vocal commands from a conference room while closing their eyes. They were pretending to fly before they are in fact in the air flying. This enhances muscle memory and allows for a more comfortable state of realistic training.

VMR can be used for any aspect of our life. If we want a new car and don't think we can afford it. We need to stop and ask ourselves, "How can I afford it?" Close your eyes and visualize that you're driving the car. Test drive it at a dealer! Visualize that you already own the car. You will eventually find a way to purchase what you want with out stressing out over it.

Stay positive!!! Why are we here? Why do some of us suffer? Why do some of us prosper? Do we attract negative outcomes? Do we attract positive outcomes?

I think that our thoughts do manifest into reality. There have been many times were I've struggled for an excuse to take a sick day from work. Let's start thinking about positive things to attract in our lives.
